During his 7-year term of service in the USAF, he held a Top Secret EBI clearance, and was granted SSIR and SIOP ESI access.
He holds a Multiengine Commercial Pilot License with an Instrument Rating, Past Certified Flight Instructor license and Advanced Ground Instructor license.He was employed as a fulltime flight instructor by the Atsugi Navy Flying Club, Tokyo Japan for some 18 months after separation from the USAF.
He holds a PADI Divemaster Scuba certification with a past PADI Underwater Instructor license.
